Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PicCal, provided by SHAREIT WIDGET PTE. LTD. ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using PicCal, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the app or related services. We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use of PicCal after an update means you accept the updated Terms.

1. License to Use the App

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use PicCal for your own personal, non-commercial wellness tracking purposes.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, reverse engineer, decompile, attempt to extract source code from, scrape, mirror, overload, or misuse PicCal or related services except where applicable law expressly permits such activity.

2. Intellectual Property

PicCal, including its interface, design, icons, text, software, databases, service logic, trademarks, branding, and related content, is owned by SHAREIT WIDGET PTE. LTD. or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain any rights you lawfully have in content that you submit. You grant us the limited right to process, transmit, store, display, and analyze that content as necessary to provide, maintain, secure, and improve PicCal.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree that you will:

• Use PicCal only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
• Submit only images, text, barcode values, feedback, and other content that you have the right to use.
• Review recognition and nutrition results before relying on them for personal tracking.
• Keep your device, Apple Account, and app access secure.
• Comply with Apple App Store rules and all applicable laws.

You must not use the app to submit illegal, infringing, abusive, misleading, harmful, or malicious content.

4. AI Recognition and Nutrition Results

PicCal may use algorithmic models, third-party services, public datasets, barcode databases, and user input to estimate foods, serving sizes, calories, macro nutrients, vitamins, minerals, glycemic load, benefits, risks, or other nutrition-related information. AI-assisted scan results, explanations, and related generated content are provided by Doubao model services through Volcengine.

These outputs are estimates and may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, delayed, misleading, or unsuitable for your situation. Food appearance, serving size, recipe differences, packaging differences, model limitations, database gaps, image quality, lighting, occlusion, and user input errors can all affect results. We do not guarantee that any food identification, calorie value, nutrient value, ingredient inference, allergy-related inference, health explanation, benefit, risk, or recommendation is accurate, complete, safe, current, or suitable for your personal circumstances.

You are responsible for reviewing AI scan results before saving, relying on, or acting on them. Do not use PicCal as the sole basis for medical, nutrition, allergy, medication, child feeding, pregnancy, disease management, emergency, or other high-impact decisions.

Volcengine and Doubao may apply their own terms, privacy policies, safety rules, and model usage requirements to the services they provide. 5. Health Disclaimer

PicCal is provided for general informational and personal tracking purposes only. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition. It does not replace advice from doctors, registered dietitians, nutritionists, pharmacists, or other qualified professionals.

You are responsible for decisions made based on app content. If you have allergies, medical conditions, pregnancy needs, child nutrition needs, eating disorder history, chronic disease, medication concerns, or other health questions, consult a qualified professional before changing your diet or lifestyle.

PicCal does not warrant that AI-generated or database-derived information can identify allergens, contaminants, unsafe ingredients, portion weights, cooking methods, nutrition values, or health risks with certainty. Always verify labels, ingredients, and professional guidance where accuracy matters.

6. Subscriptions, Billing, and Refunds

PicCal may offer paid features, premium access, free trials, subscriptions, or other in-app purchases. All purchases made through the iOS app are processed by Apple through the App Store.

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions may automatically renew unless canceled according to Apple's subscription rules.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account subscription settings.
• Refund requests, billing disputes, chargebacks, tax invoices, and payment credential handling are managed by Apple.
• Premium availability, pricing, trial eligibility, and feature scope may vary by country, version, platform, and Apple rules.

We cannot promise Apple refund approval, issue direct off-platform refunds for Apple purchases, or override Apple's billing decisions.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

PicCal may depend on third-party services for cloud infrastructure, AI processing, food data, barcode lookup, analytics, crash diagnostics, payments, or support. Third-party services may have their own terms, policies, availability limits, and data practices.

For AI scan features, images and related scan information may be transmitted to backend services and processed by Volcengine and Doubao model services. Our server does not retain the original scanned image or scan input after the request, unless you choose to save a generated result or related app record. You must not submit content that you do not have the right to use or that contains unnecessary sensitive personal information.

The app or policy pages may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, availability, or practices.

8. Availability and Changes

We work to keep PicCal useful and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may depend on network access, device compatibility, Apple services, backend services, AI providers, barcode providers, or other third parties.

We may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue any feature, model, entitlement, price, design, policy, or service at any time for product, security, legal, operational, or business reasons.

9. No Warranty

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PicCal and related services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted service, and error-free operation.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SHAREIT WIDGET PTE. LTD. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profit, goodwill, health outcomes, business opportunities, device availability, or service access arising from or related to your use of or inability to use PicCal.

This limitation applies even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some limitations may not apply to you.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to PicCal or related services if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, create legal or security risk, or where we are required to do so by law or platform rules. Upon termination, you must stop using the app and related services.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws to the extent permitted by conflict-of-law rules and mandatory consumer protection laws. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
